Volunteers commit to volunteering a minimum of two hours per week each semester (fall, spring, and/or summer). Volunteers will learn about supporting students experiencing homelessness and gain experience in tutoring, leadership, and public speaking skills.

We are seeking AmeriCorps State & National members who have an interest in helping children who are experiencing homelessness to succeed in school, while working to enhance the HOPES program. Volunteers also engage in a diverse range of direct service projects to address critical community needs, with the flexibility of a part- or full-time program. Stipend available.

Site Coordinators are a part-time position for anyone with experience in education, social work or community development. They are responsible for creating an environment where volunteers and students can connect and grow. Time commitment: Monday-Thursday late afternoons or early evenings for 10-12 hours per week for 12 weeks. Stipend: $15/Hour.

Our HOPES Associate Board is perfect for individuals interested in fundraising and bringing public awareness to Chicago HOPES for Kids through putting together various events.
